My name is Filip Seynaeve. After working at Deloitte for 34 years (including 16 years as a partners), it was time for a new turn in my carreer. Being born between radios, rape recorders and televisions, as a child I already had an effervescent passion for music, songwriting and producing.

The name "The Musical Box" is a nod to Genesis' song of the same name on their 1971 album "Nursery Cryme".

In 2014, I started a day training as an engineer producer at Musicasa in Knesselare. Meanwhile, I built this studio from scratch.

Today "The Musical Box" is a fact and is a home where professional bands and people with a muse for music can go.
